About Me
I’ve worked in education for more than 15 years — as a classroom teacher, policy researcher, and strategic advisor — always with a focus on advancing equity and justice in public education.
I began my career teaching high school English in Philadelphia, an experience that continues to shape how I think about systems, opportunity, and impact. Since then, I’ve worked with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and research partners to help them understand complex education challenges and design strategies that lead to better outcomes for students.
My work brings together data analysis, policy research, and strategic planning to help organizations make informed decisions and build support for meaningful change. Whether I’m analyzing funding systems, writing a report, or helping a team think through how to engage key audiences, I approach every project with the same goal: using evidence to make education more fair, effective, and inclusive.
Though my students are grown now — many with families of their own — I still do this work for them. I keep their experiences at the center of everything I do: their needs, the challenges they faced both in and out of school, and the systemic barriers they had to confront and overcome. They remind me what’s at stake, and why this work matters.
